Tips that make a real difference
- Show the pay range. Caregivers compare agencies on pay first; posts without a range get fewer applicants.
- Be specific about shifts. "Saturday and Sunday, 8am–4pm" filters far better than "flexible hours."
- Separate must-haves from nice-to-haves. If dementia experience is a bonus rather than a requirement, say so.
- Mention travel. Covering several homes a day is a big part of the job — tell people how you handle mileage.
- Keep it readable on a phone. Short sections and bullet points beat long paragraphs.
